We are looking for Sydney, Australia accommodations for me and my husband in the moderate price range. Do you have a place that you love that is centrally located?

A short walk from the CBD is the Vibe Hotel in  Goulburn Street. It has recently (  in the last 2 years ) undergone a refurbishment and it looks great.  Because it's more on the fringe of the CBD and not right in the middle of  the  city  the rates are slightly lower  but  you can walk right in to the city in  about 10 minutes. My husband and I stay there all the time and we have nothing but praise for the place .

i live in Sydney but further inwards..i dont know many hotels. try checking on some websites but i know one called the novetel i think omething like that

Raddison Suites on Liverpool Street. Its a great location right in the middle of everything.

Another good site is www.wotif.com.au

Pitt Street is another good street to stay on.

I think the Crown plaza has specials on at the moment $99 per night. That's near Darling Harbor.

i have stayed in several reasonably priced centrally located hotels. The ones I would recommend are:

Meriton on Pitt street

Meriton World Tower
