Do you have a favourite child?

To those with more than one child - If you are completely honest with yourself, do you have a favourite?

I dont have any children but i have a favourite nephew. Out of my three young nephews i think that my youngest who is 2 has always been my favourite because hes so polite and helpful. He does more work than his two 8 year old brothers. I think that every parent LOVES there children the same but LIKES one more than the other :) :) :)

Why would you want a favourite child for? Don't favourtise your children, they will only begin to hate one another

My parents loved my sister more than me and have never covered this fact up even though they have always ensured exactly and precisly the same amount of money was spent on us as children.

I was loved and looked after but always felt like the outsider.

I have a happy life and have children who are different but I love them both, not one more than the other.

I causes irreparable damage to relationhips and self esteem and is the biggest mistakes when bringing up a family.

I've not got children [yet] but I think that all parents love their children the same, and don't have favorites - although lots say that their first born child is always a bit special, because you are learning to be a parent.

I think people mistake loving one child differently than another with loving one child more than another.  My children are completely different, and I love them in different ways.  There is a bond I have with my firstborn that I don't have with my baby, and vice versa.  That doesn't mean one is my 'favorite' over the other...

Well i only have one right now so I guess it's her. But I think after I give birth in November it will be pretty even!

I have 3 kids and to be honest all are same for me.

2 girls and a boy..... I can't select one above the other.

But if you select one activity then there may be favourites like if I am walking outside then I love to walk with my son.

If I am talking about religion then it is fun to talk with elder daughter.

If I am talking about fun stuff then it is younger daughter.

Not as such - but at certain times I have a child that I would rather be with i.e. sometimes when one is really playing up and is really difficult to be around.

But I don't have a favourite - I love them all the same and I love them for being different from each other.

as a son i would say they all secretly do but they will all say they dont

no, but their is always a speical bond with your first born that is different from the bond you share with other children . it's different, but it don't mean that i have a favorite child.
