  1. No, I don't gamble.

  2. Yeah farmer jack....until he  died

  3. Red Rum 'cos I love the stuff...much better than Bacardi !!!

  4. I follow Baby,Baby, Oh Baby.

She is a harness horse in windsor mostly.

I love hearing her name being said by the announcer.

  5. I make a point of following all the foals that I have handled through their racing careers.  My two most distinguised foals are:

Haafhd (GB) - 2,000 Guineas & Champion Stakes Winner

Shield (GB) - Sandown Classic Trial (G3) winner

Other horses I handled as foals are:

    Santando (races today at Exeter!)

Lucayan Dancer (I foaled him and helped with his fostering after we had to put his mother down)

    One Last Time

    Tyranny

    Royal Indulgence

    Mine Behind

    Almutasader

    Rowan Express

    San Hernando

    Lowe Go

    Odabella's Charm

    Dallah

    Andean

    Waterstone

    Strawberry Fair

    and many, many more!

  6. It's certainly a good way to bet. You've only gotta look at that lady who won the Scoop6 by picking horses with nice names. I normally go for those with a colour in their name but also how I'm feeling at the time. For example one horse I like to back is Pawn In Life, and it done me treat last season winning at 33-1, had it in a double and picked a tidy £360 from £1!! Here's a tip for you about this horse - don't back it on turf, this an all-weather monster over 7f.

  7. well, sort of.

I'll follow a horse if I recognize its breeding from its name.  There's a filly called Winning Point who I recognized as sired by Point Given.  And then of course there's Slew's Tizzy and Slew's Tiznow.

I liked Scat Daddy's name because the little boy named it after his dad and I thought that was really cute.

Afleet Alex of course had the connection in his name to the Alex's Lemonade Stand.

Being a law student, I like a few horses because of their law type names: Assault, Citation, Affirmed, Closing Argument, Lawyer Ron...

But I've never heard a name and decided to follow the horse just because I thought it sounded good.

  8. Yes a flat racer called BlessinginDisguise it was bred by a lady who was a close friend
