My dad and his friends were at Tiger Stadium about 7 years ago and they were heckling the Minnesota Twins Left Fielder Jacque Jones. They were yelling "You ain't doin nothin' out here you bum" and stuff like that, so finally he turned around and said "I make $400,00 a year to stand here and do nothing-how much do you make?" LOL.

  1. Citizen's Bank Park, Philadelphia at a Mets game.  Sitting at the end of the Mets dugout heckling the h**l out of David "Cry Baby" Wright.  I know for a fact that we pissed him off.  He flicked us the "bird".  He is such an @$$hole.

  2. Manny Ramirez playing for the Indians at Fenway vs the Red Sox.  He had these short little bleached blond curls and the crowd in right field just couldn't resist.  Course, the Sox signed him for 8 years the next year, and we loved him.  Will miss him, and it's sad how he went to LA.  More Manny stories to come, I'm sure.

  3. Well at Fenway, they were playing the Yankees, and two yankee fans in front of me we're heckling Kevin Youkilis during warm ups.

"Hey, when they're yelling, YOOUUUU are you sure they're not booing?"

Kevin Ignored them, but then a throw from Pedroia fired at the wall, hitting 1 foot below the two fans. (They were in the front row) They shut up.

  4. No, but we used to heckle the WWF wrestlers back in the '80s.

  5. Well, I haven't see/heard anything, but nice story there LOL. And yes, tell your dad he was right. Jacque is a loser who rips teams off and ruins their chemistry wherever he goes

  6. I don't have any stories like that, but that's a good one.

  7. Back in the late 90's, a friend and I would go to our share of Astros games  when they were still playing in the Astrodome.

We were at a Braves game one evening and we were heckling Ryan Klesko in left field throughout the game.  We always did it in good sport, nothing bad or dirty.

Well, Jeff Bagwell came to the plate and we told Ryan to watch and take notes because Jeff was going to show him how to hit a homerun.  Ryan kind of waved us off, like "yeah right".   Kidd you not, Jeff Bagwell plasters one into the center field bleachers.  Ryan looked over at us with a huge grin on his face.  He was good sport about it all.

  8. That is hilarious!  I don't have any good stories, but a while ago I found these on Youtube.  Carlos Lee is great with the fans!

  9. back at the old Arlington Stadium, the visitors bullpen was literally right next to the bleacher seats.  It's late September, 1986 the Angels are fighting for a final playoff spot in a close game with the Rangers. It is around the 6th-7th inning and a fan a few seats away from me has consumed way too many beers and begins heckling the he** out of Chuck Finley kinda like what happened with Papelbaun & the All Star parade this year.  If ever a player was gonna jump in the stands and go Ron Artest on a fan, believe me Chuck Finley wanted to do it that day.  22 years later I can still see and feel Finley's hostility.
