  1. Ingredients:

1 onion and 2 stalks celery, chopped

    1/2 cube butter or margarine

    Poultry seasoning, salt and pepper

1 cup chicken bouillon or giblet broth

    One bag croutons

    Preparation:

Sauté onion and celery in butter or margarine until tender. Add one bag croutons (seasoned or plain), mix and heat. Add chicken bouillon to moisten well. Season to taste. Makes enough for a small turkey; you can double the ingredients for a larger (15 lbs or more) turkey. I add chopped giblets for more flavor.

  2. My Dad learned this from his Mom and then passed it down to me. We always eyeball it but it is always very very good!

    Chopped Onions

    Sliced Celery

A couple slices of bread torn up small

    melted butter

    couple tbsp milk

    Salt and Pepper

    Celery Salt

I usually add sage as well but you don't have to if you don't want. You can add poultry seasoning but if I remember right poultry seasoning has sage in it.

  3. My mom taught me this:

onions or green oniond - must be diced  to small pieces

celery to include part of stalk

half a loaf of 3-5 day old bread

    eggs

    salt

    pepper

    seasoning to taste

brown onion and celery in small frying pan until brown and soft. While mixture is browning, add salt and pepper and just a small bit of seasoning of your choice.

In a separate bowl, tear bread into small pieces. Add egg into bread until moistened. You may have to add more than one. Stir in veggies from frying pan until well incorporated. We always stuffed the turkey but you can use a casserole dish at 325 degrees until brown and ready.
