1. What graduate degree/program did you pursue?

2. Did you take a GMAT prep course. If so, with whom?

3. What school did you select? Did you graduate?

4. What is your current job title? Are you working in your chosen field?

1. I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience

2. I did not take the GMAT's, I took the GRE's (general and subject specific. As my graduate studies are through the Dept. of Psychology I thus had to take the psych specific test). As far as preparing for them, I bought the Princeton Review for the general test. My undergrad degree was in psychology, so preparing for that was just a review of my notes.

3. I attend the University of Maine. I earned my B.A. and my M.A. here.

4. My current job title is Reseach/Teaching Assistant. My research is focused on the effects of ethanol exposure on endogenous circadian rhythms.

5. Thus far I am very pleased. I am currently shopping for post-doc postings all over the world. When I am finished with the Ph.D. I should expect to earn 45-55k or above while doing my post doc, and then up from there as I enter into assistant, associate and ultimately full professorship. More importantly, I really enjoy the field I work in.

1. What graduate degree/program did you pursue?

Right after college, I did graduate work in Mathematics and then in Philosophy at the University of Minnesota.  I did not finish either degree.

After working for a number of years, I got an MBA at Duke and then a PhD in FInance at Berkeley.

2. Did you take a GMAT prep course. If so, with whom?

No -- I just went in and took the GMAT with no preparation.  I did well.

3. What school did you select? Did you graduate?

Minnesota -- I did not graduate

Duke university -- I did graduate

University of California at Berkeley -- I did graduate

4. What is your current job title? Are you working in your chosen field?

I am a member of the finance faculty at a business school at a major university.

5. Are you happy with the results of this degree? (ROI)
