Do you have a jaded view of life?

You can't escape influence. Everywhere you look there's influence, and it'll hit you whether you like it or not. People will always change. People will always judge. People will always be jaded.

It's when you realise this that you have a chance of getting away from it. Most people are too happy to live the way is expected of them. I for one want to live knowing every choice I made was 100% my own, and 100% for me. It's not selfish- it's practical.

I have no illusions what life is. But, it took me too many years to learn!

Yes personally I wish people were more kind. Mostly everyone is cruel and that is just a fact.
