Do you have a local street bum?

Question

I have a couple that like to inhabit the street my office is on. Normally they are in various states of drunkenness from walking and talking to passed out asleep on the pavement. We have one particularly special individual that enjoys sitting on the door step of the recruitment office next door screaming abuse at the passer's by and employees of the agency.

Is this a common occurrence or is my street just 'lucky'.

As a note my office is based close to the the financial district in London and is surrounded by multi-national companies in big glass buildings.

Yes I do! I live in Bournemouth which is home to the amazing Gordon the tramp! He can tell the time any time of day without using a clock or watch.

Yeah we had one but the old dude died.I finally found out his problem,he was a Vietnam Veteran,and needed medication rather than the vodka he consumned daily.The guy was a highly decorated Special Forces soldier.He had no family(that cared)and no home.I let him stay in my garage sometimes,he never wanted to come in the house so I'm a soldier,so I just let him alone.I figured he had things on his mind.He left his medals with me,and 10,000$ after he passed on nice guy so give them a pat on the back now and then some of them deserve it.

yeah, it was a couple of years ago but he was infamous at the school i was at at the time.

his name was either B.C or bessie (depending on the accent of the person who told you about him) and he wandered around the school sometimes, and everyone would see him sitting in the sewers near a local park. i dont think i ever saw him myself, but most people said he looked like a Polynesian santa claus haha

no i don't. but they will be gone soon London's holding the Olympics so there probably going to make it illegal to be homeless like Atalanta did when they held the Olympics.

ahh dear walk down my street if you're wondering what the world is coming to, look around and you could cry...junkies, collapsed old alchies, young folk running wild, woop woop its da sound of da police, every fkin night, I'm tryin to transfer somewhere else!  Look out for noddy the bin raker and popeye some old alchy wifey if you're ever up in aberdeen.  They're ten to the dozen though around here.

In Peterborough, England, we had a bum called nobby he died or something though he was awsome he lived a bus shelter near a golf course! He even played golf sometimes!!!

lol i love the local tramps they are just so entertaining!!! we have one who has a tennis racket and pure thinks he is ona main stage haha!!!
