Do you have a nanny? What do they do for you?

I sometimes work as a nanny.  Basically, its private child care.  I do all the same things that your day cares and preschools do, but privatly one on one with your child.  Its more than a baby sitter in that I am actually interacting one on one with your child to help them learn new things and be creative.  I fix meals for the kids and went with them to all their daily activities while the parents are at work.

House cleaning, errands and laundry is NOT the work of a nanny contrary to what some parents like to think.  I will do those things, but I expect to be paid seperatly as a maid/family organizer with seperate time to get those things done.

I'm a nanny too, but I have to do play groups, music class, story hr,museums,laundry,curriculum,and house cleaning

well my nanny is actually my grandmother haha, her jobs are:

~ drive kids to and from preschool

~ do washing

~ put kids to sleep in the day

~ cook lunch etc

~ tidy house

~ walk to the aprk with kids

~ entertain them

and yes she does get paid for it, she works 4 days a week.
