  1. you can use skype if the person in ja have internet acess and your calling from the us.  that is free.  if you want to call their phonoe down there i think its 15cent a minute.  check the rates on t hat though skype.

  2. Are you in the States? I have AT&T and I pay $0.42 per minute to cell phones and $0.36 to landlines in Jamaica

  3. Digicel International Call Plan is a calling plan that will allow Digicel customers to have 1000 minutes that may be used to call select international numbers for $999 JMD for 30 days.

After a customer has exhausted their 1000 minutes allotted for the period they will access a rate of JMD $8.00 per minute to call select international numbers.

Customers using this service will enjoy reduced rates to numbers in the USA and Canada (Landlines and Mobiles) and UK landlines.

I see you are in JA but as you know Digicel is cellular but this is cheaper than a calling card!!!

  4. There is no such package available for a landline currently but Digicel does have a special promotion going on where you can use your mobile and make calls to other Digicel Users worldwide and get the very same rate as if you were calling a Jamaican subscriber.

US and UK landlines are the only phones covered in most Jamaican International Calling plans.
