I have one it is the serenity prayer. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. Courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

  2. Yes, we have one that a friend gave us:

    God bless the corners of this house,

    And be the lintel blest;

    And bless the hearth and bless the board

    And bless each place of rest;

    And bless each door that opens wide

    To strangers and to kin;

    And bless each crystal window pane

    That lets the starlight in;

    And bless the rooftree overhead

    And every sturdy wall,

    The peace of man, the peace of God,

    The peace of love on all.

  3. I don't have the one on the wall but I have the one in my spirit.

  4. No...just a Poster of a Chimp sitting on the dunny.

  5. I don't have a prayer I like to keep on the wall, but I do have a poem by Edgar Guest called myself, I think it applies about equally to Christians and non-Christians.  I first heard it at a ragger ceremony at YMCA Camp Tippecanoe..

    I have to live with myself and so

    I want to be fit for myself to know .

    I want to be able as days go by

    always to look myself straight in the eye;

    I don't want to stand with the setting sun

    and hate myself for the things I have done .

    I don't want to keep on a closet shelf

    a lot of secrets about myself

    and fool myself as I come and go

    into thinking no one else will ever know

    The kind of person I really am,

    I don't want to dress up myself in sham.

    I want to go out with my head erect

    I want to deserve all men's respect;

    but here in the struggle for fame and wealth

    I want to be able to like myself.

    I don't want to look at myself and know that

    I am bluster and bluff and empty show .

    I never can hide myself from me;

    I see what others may never see;

    I know what others may never know,

    I never can fool myself and so,

    whatever happens I want to be

    self respecting and conscience free.

  6. Oh, I used to but then the fundies said it's idolatry. So I threw out all my prayers, my Bibles, pictures of my mom, etc.

  7. Magical thinking (i.e. prayer) to some invisible sky daddy to make you, or anyone else for that matter, special and fancy in HIS s**y and powerful magiks is not only a complete waste of time it is also utter lunacy!
