Do you have a preference as to which s*x you want your unborn baby to be?

If so, are there any particular reasons for your choice?

No preference... with the last pregnancy my fiance' wanted a girl. (got her but she was stillborn at 21 weeks).. this time he wants a boy... so we'll see, but we'll be happy if he/she is just healthy:)

We're keeping it a surprise and I honestly do not care either way.  This is our first and I know it won't be our last...i know my hubby is hoping for a little boy though....we'll have to wait and see.

With my first it didn't matter to me one way or the other. I knew my husband would be more comfortable with a boy, and the 'older protective brother' cliche sounded cute, so we were overjoyed when we had our boy last year. Next time around I'd be gunning for a girl, but still happy either way.

I kept saying I "wanted a girl." I dreamed of brushing my  daughter's hair every morning, and caressing her tiny baby body in pink blankets.

I thought I'd be disappointed with a boy. And when the ultrasound tech told me "it's a boy." I couldn't have been happier. He's my son. He's my beautiful beatiful son. I'll teach him to play soccer, and make mud pies with him.

It'll be different for me, because being a girl, I don't know much about raising a little boy.

But it will be an incredible adventure. And I couldn't be happier :)

I prefer my baby to be healthy, boy or girl. He is a boy, but the point is, after two consecutive losses and having your doctor tell you that because of rapidly progressing endometriosis that you'd never conceive and carry without medical assistance and that you'll need a hysterectomy by 24, I wouldn't care if I was having kittens, as long as they're healthy.

I always wanted a little girl. I never thought i'd have boys, but my 1st baby was a boy, 2nd was a boy, 3rd finally was a girl, and now we aren't finding out the gender of #4 until the birth...but i'm hoping for a girl!

I would just like 1 of each and for them to be healthy and happy. I don't care what order they come in, although it would be nice to have the boy be older so he can look out for his little sister. :-)

Well, I've had one of each and I never cared either time what the gender was - as long as they were healthy.

Of course aside from it being 100% healthy....

I would like a girl this time ONLY because I have a wonderful 3 year old son and I would like to experience raising both genders! I dont want a girl because of the pink girly stuff or cute clothes.....I just want the best (and worst) of both worlds. However if this baby is a boy I would still be extatic because I think seeing my son grow up with a little brother would be great!  We will see!

Well i always wanted a girl just because i wanted to put her in adorable dresses and whatnot.

I am having a boy and I am so happy. For me, Its my first child and well i know a lot of ppl s***w up a little with there first one... because they are new at everything and i would rather mess up a little with a boy.

I want a little girl.  I grew up with nine sisters and one brother.  People keep telling me I'm crazy because when she hits her teenage years it will be h**l on earth.  LOL.  But I already have a stepson and I want a little girl.  Plus my hubby would be thrilled to have a baby girl as he lost his stepdaughter last year in a court battle.  But we really would be happy with either as long as they are healthy.  Babies are fun no matter what the gender!

With my daughter I didn't care either way, but I always pictured myself with boys, but then I had my daughter and I am so glad my first is a girl.  With this baby I would prefer a boy simply because then I might consider not having another one.  If this is another girl I have already decided we will try again for a boy.

I always dreamed of having a girl. I guess I just see my relationship with my mother which is wonderful and want the same with a little girl.

I'm having a little boy though! And, I'm so happy about my little man. I have to imagine my life now with a boy but it's easy :) I love him. I was just so so happy he was healthy on the ultrasound.
