Do you have a self cleaning litter box?

Does it make your life so much easier?

Which brand/type do you have?

After 11 years of cleaning a litter box every morning...I'm sick of it! :) Do these self cleaning ones really work and make the job easier?

No my friend got one and she said it sucked probually depends on brand

Nooo don't get one! We bought one for my cat Sam (may he rest in peace) and seriously, it didn't even work properly, even after a replacement! (It was so fiddly) And it was pretty expensive. If you want a job done properly, do it yourself I always say :D

I bought one, but, the bar wouldn't ever "scoop", so, we took it back. I wasn't going to pay $100 for a self scooper if I still had to scoop. I like the concept, but, I didn't research brands. If I decide to buy another one, I'll definitely spend some time researching them.

I would not WASTE your money if I were you, I have heard horror stories of cats getting injured by those, a lot of cats are scared of them because of the sound.  etc.  you will end up having to have a regular litter box so it is just so much easier to clean the litter box once or twice a day, it's not too hard.
