Do you have any Ebay or Paypal horror stories?

I sold a bag, the customer paid and I dispatched the bag the following day, a week later she told me she still hadn't received it so after phoning her local sorting office I thought that I would give her the benefit of the doubt and so I sent her a new one. She then claimed the money back from paypal and also sold the bag on ebay using my photos and descriptions. So she got 2 bags out of me and money back from paypal. Taught me not to be so trusting. I wasn't able to leave negative feedback to warn other sellers because of the new feedback system.. All I could do is stop her from selling the bag but that didn't do me much good I was still out of pocket by £60.!!!

I've heard plenty from people who's Paypal accounts have been frozen because their business was successful and got a lot of money in. There can be a lot of mucking around trying to get your account and money back, and many have lost a lot of money.

I also heard from someone who was expecting a surge of sales on a particular day from his website, so he warned Paypal in advance (he phoned them 3 times just to make sure). He had no problems.

I use Paypal but will start a backup somewhere else once the stuff I sell becomes more successful.

Someone else never keeps money in their Paypal account, they will move it to their bank account right away.

I don't have any personal horror stories, just a few times where eBay sellers have never sent me the items I bought. But most eBay experiences I've had were good.
