-broadening my ever-growing CD collection

-cross-stitching

-writing real letters & emails

-playing the flute/recorders (5 sizes)/tinwhistles (of 3 sizes) and synthesizer

-writing to my (offline) diary

I'm a gamer (Books, paper, & dice...not computer).

About 4 months ago I took up running, and I'm lovin' it.  I've participated in (and am scheduling to participate in) local running events.

Recycling.  I love bottles and find them too beautiful to put into recycle.  I re-use everything from candle jars which I decorate and fill with homemade goodies at Christmas for gifts to liquor bottles. My friends and neighbors now call me with their used liquor bottles which I recycle into all kinds of things.  I put whiskey pourer spouts on them and use them to store vinegars, oils, dish soap and bath oils.  I fill them with liquid parafin or citronella oil with a glass wick transformer in the neck to turn them into patio torches.  I love to look at something that would otherwise go into the trash or recycle bin and find another use for it.
