Hello,

I'm doing a science fair project and i really want to win this!

I'm in 10th grade and i'm taking the chemistry course.

The science fair project is about global warming and I have nothing that goes in my head for a EXPERIMENT.

The experiment must have a chemical reaction.

please suggest me as much as you can!

thanks!

  1. this may seem pretty weird but i know that cattle have a good amt to do with green house gasses and such to do with global warming. (may seem gross but it'll turn some heads) you could make two boxes( transparent boxes)  one with a plant in it, the other with nothing but dirt. place cow dung in both and measure the amount of carbon dioxide/monoxide in each container. the one without the plant will be significantlly higher and say such things as "forests are being cut down to make pastures for cattle which helps global warming" things of that nature... not sure if there is a chemical reaction but im sure there is somewhere. at least the side with the plant.  from CO2 to O2 i guess... hope this sparks up an idea for you if anything. good luck!

  2. perahps something to do with glaciers melting

obviously global warming affects that and it's a chemical reaction too
