  1. I used to baby sit an 8 year old, before I had my license. Her favorite thing to do, was have me straighten her hair, and paint her nails and stuff. It made her feel like we were just a couple of friends hanging out.

  2. Try watching a fun movie with the kid, or play a fun board game.

  3. Pamper her (nails, facials).

    Watch a movie with her.

    Bake with her.

  4. Sculpey - my best friend when I babysat.

But be careful using it on other assignments - a lot of babies and toddlers like to eat it.

  5. go to the store with your mom and by a waterslide or games from the store and she will have fun even you will have a lot of fun with her

  6. Is there nowhere close to walk to? You could go for a walk together? Go tanning together if it's nice out? Talk about boys and make up and stuff.. perhaps bring over a ton of magazines?  Give each other make overs?

  7. if u have beads, let her make braclets and stuff. i loved that as a kid. and you can put nailpolish on for her. don't do makeup because most parents wouldn't want their young daughters to do that stuff. most parents don't mind about nails. i know from experience. and if u have any "hannah montana" stuff, i'm sure she'll like it.

  8. Baking cookies or cupcakes.

  9. well you could do makeovers, watch a movie, play board games,or cook somthin....my little cuz just turned 10 and I watch her all the time...when I can't take her somewhere, we are at the house we mostly chill and talk story

  10. simple arts and crafts.

    hide and seek.

    watch their favorite movie.

  11. you guess can walk places.take the bus.if then play outside.or tell the parent to drope u off and stay there.

just forget the ones about leaving the house tho.

  13. movies

    art projects

    board games

    sherades

    tv

    hide and go seek

if you can go outsie some kind of sport

    paint her nails

    do her hair

    wear face masks

just talk to her about her school, teachers, friends, food, summer plans, pets, books, movies, tv shows stuff like that!!

    hope that helps!

  14. let her use a cheap and available material and do all kinds of creative stuff with it. toilet paper works great ;)

  15. movies

    board games

    card games

    computer

    arts and crafts

  16. play board games, coloring, maybe she likes some type of computer game or t.v. show???? i know for a fact that every 9 year old loves to play with makeup :] so let her do your make up and you can do heres????

  17. You could always play some games, color, do other arts and crafts, and watch movies.  Most parents wouldn't want you to just sit their kid in front of the t.v.

  18. Nine years old girls are easy you just ask her what she likes to do and do it, it's that simple. Now if you ever to babysit a little boy or the girl is a tomboy that when things get a little more complicated.

  19. I babysat alot when I was young and I generally would plan things to do.

Playing with dolls is one option although that can be boring for you.

Crafts are always great. You can paint, color, play dough/clay, scrapbook (arrange with the mother ahead of time for some pictures- she can work on her own and you on yours), sew a simple doll.

Baking is another fun thing to do. Brownies are easy, so are cupcakes or cookies.

Make a movie, or create a website (get her parents permission and be VERY careful about personal information).

I always wanted to be a hairdresser, so I often would play beauty salon and fix the children's hair or the doll's hair.

Go outside and play kickball or ride bikes.

I could go on and on.

  20. play a board game

    cards

    colour

    crafts

    paint her toe nails

    make necklaces

  21. Get a bead kit from a local store and take along

    Watch movies

    Go for a walk

Have some sugar cookies made and decorate them together

  22. make sure to have arts and craft they love that. And fun kid movies like nemo or something of that sort. I know cause i was a recreational leader for kids ages 5-7 and it was fun. but don't get stuck on the movies cause then they will get bored. painting with glitter and shaving cream art is the best way to go.

  23. Board or card games. My girls are 7 and 9 and love them. If you don't have any ask her to bring some of her favorites (if you are not going to be at her house). Or any type of drawing, coloring, or craft type thing.

  24. Have you consider doing cooking crafts or just cooking in general, let her learn how to make fun foods.plan a pic nic and eat it out side in the yard.

*Do unique crafts that are basic... (example: make bird feeders with things that you collected from around the yard or house)

*Make a funny homemade music video have movie and popcorn day, ask her to write a story and add art to go with each page.

*Make puppets from old socks and have a puppet show. *Collect old clothes and remove the buttons and other objects and make home made jewerly using safe glue I wouldn't recommend a glue gun unless closely supervised.
