Do you have any ideas for using predictable charts in kindergarten?

I need to write a paper on using predictable charts for kindergarten/preschool writing and reading. Does anyone have success stories using this?

Predicable charts and books invite the child to eagerly anticipate reading. Knowing what happens next, allows a child to learn sequence and order...and follow left to right. This also allows him/her to learn to recognize some printed words. All these things are good for a young child's self esteem.
