Do you have any labour-saving devices which don't save labour and drive you mad?

Skinnybe ... it was a juice extractor that prompted me to ask the question. Takes for ever to assemble and then hardly ever even works and is impossible to clean if it does work.

  1. Same as you, juicer!!!! Great machine but drives me mad, so hard to clean, despite the 'quick clean up' promise, it ain't dishwasher safe either (although it says it is) silver comes off!!!........I have had most parts replaced - because it just looked a mess, then a whole new machine........just the same! but I use it everyday, it does the job very well! what kind is yours?

  3. An electric can opener that don't want to hold the can and don't cut the top all the way off so you have to bend it back and forth and try not to cut yourself on the sharp edge....yeah it gets me mad..

    Yes my nicer dicer is supposed to chop onions easily, but I got a frozen shoulder after the last onion dicer war, worst thing is they cost £29.99 & they are ok for soft foods, but not brilliant for onions.

  6. We have a fantastic bench-mounted tin-opener at work...The one I bought myself for 49p from Morrisons works so much better!!!!!!!!!!
