Yeah, of my mother standing over me, threatening me with a wooden spoon. I mean, you can't piddle if there's none there, can you?

yep i do, remembering the little plastic potty trainer seat. :)

i distinctly remember getting the belt type thing unhitched from my waist, wearing a dress and those ugly white little flat shoes that babies wore in the '50's and hearing the phone ring and my mother leaving the room and then finding myself and my new white shoes and socks standing in the toilet bowl.  hahahaha.  boy was my mother pissed off!  [pun intended].
