  1. One memory I will never forget is when I went skiing in Andorra, it's between France and Spain. At the time I was in peak health and fitness. I remember the feel of the snow on my face and laying in it. i remember falling so many times but it didn't matter because I was having some fun. I remember seeing the sun rise behind the mountains every morning. I remember the feel of the crisp cold air hitting my face as I skied down those mountains. If I know then that it would be my last holiday in full health I would never have come home. That memory stays with me always even when i'm in hospital or at the doctor's or when I'm feeling absolutely terrible. I'm so lucky to have had that chance to go, so it will forever be special to me.

  2. Yes, my son died when he was 20 years old. I wanted to remember him & was afraid I would get to some point in life & not be able to do that. It has been 8 years & I don't worry anymore....I remember on one of the days I last saw him. He was sitting on the sofa at my house. We are both psychic & we just knew something was going to happen. He was getting ready to take a trip to another state. I sat on the arm of the sofa & leaned down & put my arms around the front of him hugging the back of his head. I stayed a long time & 20 year old guys can get impatient. I told him I never wanted to let him go....He said "Mom, you know, you do have to let me go?'. I knew what he meant &  that was one of the last times I spent with him....It is so special cause I know it was all in divine right order. I am glad I could do that & that we had that time together....Like that bumper sticker that says "did you hug your loved ones today?'. I am glad I hugged him.

  3. yeah, and then I think I do forget them anyways, over time, but I wonder if I've forgotten them or if I remember all the ones I've wanted to remember.  Maybe I just don't take the time to recall them from my memory or sometimes I'll recollect them with certain triggers such as places, scents, photos.  Even though I worry that I might forget the good memories I'd like to think that the effects of having had good experiences adds to my overall sense of happiness and well being.

  4. I don't want to forget any good memories. :)

  5. They were with the one person i never want to let out of my arms!

  6. My first meeting with my husband-my son brought him home from work to introduce us under the false pretense of needing his help fixing his car.(my son said "put two people in a room and see what happens")we've been together 11 yrs now.Who would ever think a 17yr old would/could find the man of his moms dreams

Our first kiss-my husband(on our 3rd date)was sitting behind me on the steps,he kissed my neck while we were talking.10 minutes later he was talking funny.I turned around and looked at him.His lips were swelling up like he was a boxer.Turns out he was allergic to my perfume.

Thanks for taking me down memory hill again : )
