Vegetarian recipes are welcomed too. This child spits out meat when given, and even when it is hidden in other foods. Thanks, and have a great day.

  1. If your child does not like meat, then there is no use trying to trick them into eating it. In fact, you should find that your job as mom chef might get easier now that you do not have to prepare meat. I do not really know what your child does like, but for some quick meals try:

-tons of veggies with simple dip

    -fruit smoothies

    -quesidillas

    -grilled cheese

    -peanut butter and jelly

    -mac and cheese

-rice mixed with child's favorite veggies

    -bean burritos and tacos

    -noodles with plain tomato sauce

    -eggs

-cheese raviolis (the kind found in the freezer section and cook in less than ten minutes in boiling water)

Those are just some meat free, kid friendly suggestions. I hope they have helped. It is not a big deal that your child is not eating meat right now. They can get much of the protein from dairy products. Taste buds are constantly changing so in a year or two, they may start to like meat. Good luck to you. Remember, you do not have to waste time or money by making your child an extra meal. Just give your child the dinner you made for yourself, minus the meat. If that is not enough food, throw in osme extra veggies or fruit pieces.

Please let me know if this has helped you. :)

  2. have you tryed the veggie hot dogs, chicken nuggets etc.... my son loves them he is 22 months.

ready I found this one in my healthy baby cook book

    Special Fried Rice:

    makes 6 adult portions

    1 1/4 cups basmati rice

    3/4 cup carrots,diced

    2 tablespoons butter

    1cup frozen peas

3/4 cup red or yellow bell pepper diced

    2 tablespoons sesame oil

    2 chopped hard-boiled eggs

Cook the rice for 15-20 min until soft. saute the carrot in butter for 3 min, then add the peas and peppers ans cook for 3 min more. heat the sesame oil in frying pan,fry the rice in the oil for 2 to 3 min. add the veggies and chopped egg.

  3. Put some honey in the food!

  4. Put the food in front of them. If they don't eat it, then fine. Guess what? They will eat when they are hungry enough.

They're picky because you're letting them be picky. My mom always said:

    "I'm not running a restaurant."

  5. I had a hard time with meat and my little girl. It doesn't hurt to use "dip" as motivation. Ranch dressing, ketchup,Italian dressing a few extra calories will not hurt a grown child. Grill cheese is a easy and great one, try adding ham in it for some extra taste. Kids love hot dogs too but with that age you may want to take the skin of to prevent choking. Spaghetti with ground beef sauce you will have to use a  blender so he would feel the chunks of the beef, I don't get why children dislike some textures but they do. I always say try it and if you don't like it don't eat it, and she usually likes it.

  6. try noodles or soup

  7. Fruit smoothies, protein shakes can have tons of things hidden in themand go down nicely. I was a picky kid and didn't like certain textures. The smoother the better for some kids.

  8. Some children just dont like meat - I made a chicken soup for my 8 month old granddaughter in the blender and she vomited it up. Pumpkin and potatoe soup, lentil and vegetables, try mashed potatoes or mashed pumpkin or both. roast potatoes or any french potatoe dish they like those.

  9. I only have 2 recipes :-
