Do you have any songs that can make me cry?

I have a "crying Playlist" in my ipod, and i put some songs that make me cry. I only have 12 songs, but it would be really nice to have more.

It would be nice if you could tell me the name of the song, the arist and the original album.

It doesn't matter if the sound is very heavy, as long as the massege is sad and beautiful, but i would like something softer better.

The song can be about: A broken heart, death, following dreams, never giving up, how bad our world is, drug adiction, etc...

It would be nice if the song is bassed on a real story, and if it is just explain me what the song is about.

THanks, the one that makes me cry the most is going to get the 10 points.

Ps: I like Rock, any type, so feel free to put whatever you want as long as it's consider Rock or something similar.

  7. I have an awesome song but you have too look up the history on the artist. This guy wrote a song about his daughter and how he wanted to hold onto her while he could because eventually she would be gone and his youngest daughter died in real life when he was famous for this song.

It's Steven Curtis Chapmin - Cinderella.

  8. "at seventeen" by janis ian

"99 Miles From L.A." by Art Garfunkel (album: "Still Crazy After All These Years")

"Ball and Chain" by Janis Joplin with Big Brother and the Holding Company

"Dust In The Wind" by Kansas

    "Blackbird" by The Beatles

You should be able to Google the artists or the song titles and find out the album names.

  9. The funeral of Hearts- H.I.M

Your Guardian Angel- The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

    Its Not Over- Secondhand Serenade

    Rainy Monday- Shiny Toy Guns

    Don't Jump- Tokio Hotel

    Miserable At Best- Mayday Parade

I love all these songs, hope i helped.

  10. Nights in White Satin - Moody Blues  I know its an older song but it gets to me every time.

Thanks live life...I realized I typed that title wrong. I've been out of it all day for some reason.

  11. avril lavigne - when your gone

    album: the best d**n thing

if you really want to cry you should watch the video that goes along with it.

  12. The saddest song I ever heard.  True story one of the Beach Boys' dog that swam out too far in a rip current and was carried out to sea.

Shannon - Henry Gross (1976)  I actually had contact with Henry once and complimented him on "THE saddest song I ever played on the radio.", to which he expressed his gratitude.

  13. GnR's anti-war song "Civil War" always strikes a little something in me...

    *sniff!*

  14. Cat's in the Cradle

    Written by Harry Chapin

    Sung by Cat Stevens

  15. Go with Neil young, he sings from the soul, and it really gets to me.

    Old Man - Neil Young

Hey Hey My My (This one is probably the best) - Neil Young

Heart of Gold - Neil Young

Helpless (Sad, but also peaceful) - Neil Young

    Patience - Guns N Roses

Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd

Our House - Crosby Stills Nash and Young (Not supposed to be sad, but it is for me, almost because of the happiness in the song is unreachable and unrealistic).

EDIT: Tom Petty's solo stuff can be pretty sad.

  16. Blind Melon- Soup

Shannon's voice is so emotional. I think the song is about giving up on everything.

  17. Escape The Fate - Cellar Door from Dying Is Your Latest Fashion.

Hawthorne Heights - Decembers from If Only You Were Lonely.

Madina Lake - Here I Stand from The Disappearance of Adalia.

Secondhand Serenade - Fall For You from A Twist In My Story.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Your Guardian Angel from Don't You Fake It.

Meg & Dia - Monster from Something Real.

All American Rejects - It Ends Tonight from The All American Rejects.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Cat and Mouse from Don't You Fake It.

Some might not make you cry but they're good. :]

  18. Ya I heard songs that make me cry.

One of them is I Miss You by Miley Cyrus the

first time I heard it made me cry.

The second song that made me cry was

In The Arms Of An Angel by Sarah McLaughlin

There's like this commercial of abused animals and

every time I see the commercial and hear the song I

run upstairs and slam the bathroom door and lock it

    and i burst into tears

  19. Yeah, it's called "I Know A Song that Gets on Everybody's Nerves." Set it on repeat and you'll be crying in no time!
