Do you have any suggestion what to do during a Debutante's party?

During the debutante's party, the debutante dances with 18 gentlemen, blow 18 candles & what else can you suggest?

Well I have heard of this game... It might be kind of bold but it is pretty fun for all of the guests.

You put a wedding veil(or a dress, anything that details a wedding) on the debutante. Then all of the eligible young men are grouped together. They HAVE to do this. Each one goes up and acts a romantic proposal to the girl. Just for fun  of course. They can sing, cry, whatever! The more passionate and romantic the better. All of the unmarried men have to do this. After everyone is finished, the debutante chooses whichever one she though was best. The young man wins a prize and is the first man other than her father to dance with her. Or you could always put it to a vote with the guests, and whoever gets the most votes wins the prize.

I think that it sounds pretty fun, and is good entertainment for all the guests.

There is another game. It is called," advice for the debutante"

Have a large ballot box at the back of the room. Cut out a whole bunch of large shaped deocorative paper. Have the guests write on those pieces of paper and stick them in the box. Paste or pin them to a board behind the ballot box every half an hour or so. It is fun because the young lady is" coming out' into society and it gives people a chance to write a little bit of advice down for  her. It is a good laugh if there are many sharp wits at the party.
