Do you have any suggestions of songs for a dance solo?

just trying to find ideas for my solo this upcoming year. much help would be appreciated. I am looking for songs that are upbeat and alot of fun!!

when you said upbeat and a lot of fun, I automatically thought of Let's Get Loud by Jennifer Lopez. Its sort of got a latin vibe to it and you could really put some fun choreography in it.

It depends on the kind of dance and what mood you want to portray. I find that alot of soundtracks have really good songs in them, (cough studio ghibli cough)

i was goin 2 tell u the song i did 4 a solo this year, until i read the part about it being upbeat n fun...4 my solo i did si volvieras a mi by josh groban (it was pointe lol). umm get it shawty by lloyd diamonds r a girls best friend and headlock by imogen heap r upbeat n fun

I guess it depends on what dance you're doing?  but I think "Beggin" from Madcon is a cool song to do a dance solo for. It's not too old, and it has a good/simple/funky beat to it.
