Do you have any suggestions on how to make a budget?

I track all my expenses on excel, but have never really sat down and made a budget for the month/year. Do you have any good resources to suggest or have any good websites to offer?

  You've got the basis for a budget in your tracking.  Takes some thinking and planning to extend it into the future.

Old school.

USE CASH.  Study after study shows that if you hand one person plastic with 100 dollars to spend and one person a hundred dollar bill, the person will plastic will spend more of the money and faster.

You don't need a website or computer program.  Simply take out a set amount of money each week in cash.  When it is gone, its gone...
