sometimes like when i'm watching a sad movie or something i want to cry but i can't because i'm with people. I know it's good to cry to get your feelings out if you're upset, but how can i hold it back once in a while?

  1. I find that I involuntarily am holding my  breath when trying to hold back tears...it sort of works.  It all depends on the situation

  2. Listen to comedianz, but of course u have to guide ur attention to them only... Try dane cook or daniel tosh...

But im not sure bout do'n it fo tha moment... keep it on an mp3 player maybe LOL...

  3. No.  When I watched Paul Potts on "Britain has Talent"  and he hit that final high note, i tingled then found myself in tears.  Goodness knows why.  But this hairy bummed old sailor can still cry.

  4. I usually bite my tongue and hold my breath until the feeling passes.

  5. you can lean on a wall that your head is down and your feet is at the top so you could be inverted .. so that your tears won't fall.. LOLz JUST KIDDING

.. wen i feel like crying but i don't want to cry,, i usually think something funny or something that will get  my attention away from the thing that makes me cry... or..

i laugh out so load and bother people... call me crazy but it works!

  6. you need more s*x,get it and feel free for ever fromthis problems.

  7. Your right, it is good to cry for both men and women. But I've always tried not to in public.  I'm like you when watching a sad movie, I'll catch tears in  my eyes but I just laugh at myself until I get past it. When my dear dad was dying, I was seeing a counselor in our area for another reason, I told her that I knew my dad was close to death, (doctor told me), I couldn't cry and I was very upset about a number of things.  She gave me permission to grieve before his death....and a month went by and cooking dinner one evening the reality of what was happening was so overwhelming that I just let it all out. It was a inter load I had been carrying for awhile. I've only cried like that one time since than. Five years later when my 23yr old was in ICU of the hospital. "What doesn't kill you will make you stronger"  that is so true.Don't hold back the tears.
