Do you make anything from these comments or is this being taken out of porportion?

Obama's bit of National fame is already coming to an end and I don't think the Clintons mind helping him out the door.  Frankly, I think his treatment of the Clintons deserve his being sent back into obscurity.  His policies do too but that is a different story.

The Clinton's have strong ideological differences on the main issues than Obama.  Notice that Hillary never said Obama is ready to be President?  She is only toting the party line by releasing her electorates.

I believe he is setting the table for his speech tonight.  Bill likes the limelight and controversy, it would be political suicide to be the reason that Obama lost just to further your own political agenda and Bill and Hillary are aware of that.  So they will navigate the political waters with a half hearted attempt to unite the party, and secretly hold on to hope that Obama loses so they can be once again the "come back kids."

Bill was the only Democrat since FDR who could win an election and more important, a RE-election. He took the party nationally from the slums to the White House. Now, they trash him with Hillary. He was just being honest, without hurting Hillary's chances in 2012 against McCain

Yeah. Bill is still bitter because his wife didn't win.  However, he is also a Democrat.  

edit: the Clintons do not have 'strong ideological differences' with Obama.  Their platforms were virtually identical!

I love his analogy - as a matter of fact I have more respect for Bill now than I did while he was President.  He tells it like it is now hope he does the same tonight at DNC and no sugar coated fake speech- just pure raw Clinton.

Simple the Clinton's hate Obama, will do everything they can to make sure he doesn't get elected while making it look like they're helping him.  Clintons only care about Clintons and if Obama gets in office Hillary can't run for president for at least 8 years and realistically 12 years because if Obama gets in office then all Democrats will have to support him for another term.  If he wins this then every Democrat will have to support his VP for the next election.  Hillary can't risk this, she's old and doesn't want to wait that long for the Presidency.  If Obama looses she'll run in 2012 and start campaigning mid novemer this year.

I think they are asinine regardless of who is running.  It has always been a matter of which party you support or choosing the lesser of two evils.
