I was just wondering if you had anything you would have wanted to know when you started High School? I'm really nervous about it.

  1. Be yourself and just go with the flow, high school isn't bad it just has it's times and is very fun. i will be a junior this year

  2. I was nervous when I started high school, just last september. The first week of school is really crazy. Step 1: high school is a lot bigger than middle school so when you go to homeroom ur teacher should give u a map of the school. Mark where u are and put a star on the classes u have. NEVER ask a upperclassmen 4 directions. When I asked a upperclassmen 4 direction they told me that class was on the 3rd floor. There wasn't even a 3rd floor.Step2: call at least 1 of ur friends the nite before school starts. Why? Just to plan out where your going to eat at. So when ever u find ur other friends u can eat there. Step3: the first week upperclassmen will tease u for just being a freshmen. Its normal. When they were freshmen they were teased to. Its like a tradition. But luckily, 9th grade flies by.Step4: the first week try to dress a year older or two. I did that and a bunch of people thought I was a juinor.

  3. Don't be nervous about it. It'll be crazy the first week, but after that everything should be okay. Don't listen to what people say because it'll really mess you up. Don't try to make a big deal about it either because high school is full of big mouthed people. Choose you friends wisely. A lot of people will just be you friend to benefit themselves and then just turn on you. If you really like a person, go for it. The worst that could happen is that they say no. Keep ya grades up, they could get you a scholarship later on. Ummm...that's about it. Oh, one last thing, be yourself, I know that's a wack line, but it's better than wasting your time trying to change yourself. I just started my sophomore year. Good luck.

  4. high school is better than middle school. well it is for me because my middle school was smaller and everyone was in everyone else's business. in high school its more each to their own and no one really cares what anyone else does. everyones really friendly also. theirs nothing to worry about at all. the first week will be different with the adjustments and stuff but after that you'll be thinking "ughhh, schooool" and the excitement and nervousness of being new will wear off.
