Do you have any tips for the card game Hearts?

I know the basic rules, but I would like some tips that would make me win more.

Well it just depends if it's three handed or four handed.  In three handed you pass three cards around, in knowing how to pass them you have to understand what is in your hand first.  Also it depends if your trying to shoot the moon or just be the one with the least amount of points.  The best hand to have if your shooting the moon is a very long suit with high cards that way not many other people have them and you can keep leading them and ppl will have to dump all thier hearts and the queen of spade on you.  Otherwise I would try to either have a lot of low spades and low hearts in my hand if I'm just trying to get the lowest score.  In four handed it's best not to try to shoot the moon although it can be easier but you'll know right off by what hand you have if you can or not, but those are much rare in four handed.  The biggest key to playing hearts though is to remember what has been played and to be able to have a decent memory of what is still out there.
