Do you have any tips on "extending" the life of my headphones?

Question

I bought headphones about 2 months ago...they were about $20 dollars recently I used them & the left one didn't work...I thought I took pretty good care of them.

So can you recommend me the best headphones for a reasonable price?

also some tips on "extending" their life...

The right earpiece of my headphones died yesterday :) I'm planning to buy new ones today... there are some good ones by Skull Candy for around 10$, they fit right into the ear... best advice is to make sure not to get them tangled up a lot... messes up the wires. Good luck!

These are pretty good...they are 30 bucks...and never messed up for me...

sony and panasonic are the best headphones u will find..i mean besides bose..but u dont wanna wear those

and nothing u can do to extend the life other then dont put them in ur pocket and dont let the cords get pinched because it will damage the wires inside
