Do you have anything embarrassing on MySpace? Who knows and who should know about it?

Do you have any public content (blog entries, comments, and especially pictures) on MySpace or similar websites that you would be embarrassed if your employer/professor/superrior/whatever saw it?

I believe they have a right to know. So a hobby of mine is to locate this and find a way to send the pictures/text or a link to the profile (with special accounts and passwords I set up in order to let them access the site) so they can see the true colors of their employee/student/subordinates.

I do it so people don't get away with being stupid online. I personally do not like MySpace and only hold accounts there to do my investigations. And I'm careful online -- no one knows who I am and I never give out any info to lead to my true identity. I could be your mother, neighbor, boss, state representative, brother-in-law, a farmer, a drunk, a madman, a lawyer, a vaccum cleaner salesman..............

So...what say you?

You're a pretty sad guy. You stalk people on Myspace to ruin their career or relationships. You don't believe in marriage, you don't even believe in being in a committed relationship.

Yes I have lots of things on Myspace I wouldn't want people to see. Pictures of partying and getting drunk, i wouldn't want the parents to see that or my employees.

Why do employees need to know? Yes, they have a right. But they don't have to know. Its up for them to decide whether or not the person should be fired. It's not up to a bored internet stalker to do that.

Oh please, get over yourself. Get a job, get a hobby, get a life. And by the way, the only reason you don't believe in a commitment is because you've never loved anybody before. When you love somebody, truly love somebody, you'll understand. You'll want to make them smile. You'll want them happy. And that feeling triumphs over whatever pathetic bachelor desire to keep a dumb poster hanging on your wall. Because love is the strongest force.
