ORIGIN OF SURNAME:

The name came from John Cotton b. 1613 & Ann White b. 1615 in England. Their 1st child and so far only child (till I find another one) was William White-Cotton b. 1636 Stafford, Va. who married Unknown Isham and had a son Isham Whitecotton (one word name) b. 1660 Stafford, Va. I have the father & grandfather of John Cotton too. Going back to 1400's England.
