Do you have more chance of winning the lotto by doing the same numbers every time or random numbers?

Well I would imagine that doing the same numbers every week would end up with you having more chance because if your numbers were to eventually come up you would win....

but then again if you do random ones theres more chance of hitting it out of pure luck one week...

Either way though the odds are 14 Million to 1

.... But hey I've got my ticket :)

The only difference between taking the same numbers every week and choosing random ones, is that if you forget to put your regular numbers on one week, and they come up, then you'll know about it and probably won't feel so good for quite some time.

Each set of numbers has exactly the same chance of winning as any other... numbers you put on last week have no influence on what numbers are going to come out this week.

The odds/probablility of winning the lottery never change, regardless of number choice.

There is no way of improving your odds -- unless you can convince the lottery commission to remove a ball or two from the draw. Good luck with THAT!

theoretically if you do the same numbers every week then after 14 million draws there is a good chance your numbers will come out
