  1. who are they?

  2. it depends on what the topics are in their other songs... if they talk about bangin bad bishes, passin girls around to their boys, tellin them shut up and gargle... then i lose respect for them, but if their content strays from the normal cocky, hedonistic, "respectless" jabber then i can take the rapper more seriously when speaking of love and other sensitive topics

p.s. i still think it's hilarious that 50 bashed ja rule for singing love songs and then started recording his own...burn

  3. I love that song "hey lover" by LL cool J and Boys to men... LL is rapping but it's about love and how bad he wants to be with her.  Its a beautiful song so yes I do have more respect

  4. The same.

  5. i have more respect because it is nice to hear rappers express themselves in a different way.

  6. Love is g*y.

These ho's need to be fûckin and suckin. Thats it!

  7. Its not even that its the point they try to make you believe their something there not. All these rappers are fake and are just trying to suck you in so I have respect for none of em.

  8. No, the only rap I've heard talk about s*x not love.

  9. What do you mean, more or less respect?

Who had ANY respect for rap artists in the first place?

  10. More. i think it makes them more human. not everyone is a thug or pimp. personally, i love hip-hop love songs, as long as they arent wack or really corny. my favorite song is a love song (the light by common), and i think you should have less respect for rap artists that say that making love songs is g*y or soft. besides, whats wrong with loving your woman?

  11. I don't have anything negative to say, I grew up on "I Need Love", by LL. Cool J.

  12. yeah of course because they made the music and it's really good u respect them.

  13. I have to say more personally.

Because It is harder for rappers to have courage to talk about sensitive subjects such as love and other things because they all think they have to keep their gangster look. And if they can rap about other things then they deserve alot more credit

  14. Probably less, unless it's about "hood love". Rap artists mainly talk about the industry and ghetto.

Love is for r&b singers, maybe?

  15. It's harder for them to be taken seriously in a tough and gritty medium.

    I personally don't.

  16. I have the same amount of respect for them.  It doesn't really change.

  17. Honestly...I can appreciate ANY topic...as long as they spit some dope lyrics...I can vibe to it...

  18. wen its tru love then yea...wen its about luvin sum ho or groupie then no..i mean like love for ther mom or brother or wife...if they say they love ther gf or sum shik it iant love and it only makes em seem like lil ********* es....SO MANY RAAPERS IN LOVE-WestSide Connection...yall shud hear it

  19. i think there should be more rap artist that talk about sensitive things.

  20. more

  21. lame

  22. Lol...this song made may go and buy there album.

I have more respect for artist who think outside the general hip hop box. But I definitely like this song.
