My daughter is 15 and has had severe lower right quadrant pain for more than 3 months now. Food allergies, celiac's, meckel's diverticulitis, etc... have all been ruled out.
Yesterday she finally had scopes. From what her pediatric gastroenterologist could see, everything looks normal, which we were very relieved about. He did biopsies, so we'll get those results in a week.
Main question - how were you diagnosed for Crohn's. Did you get the diagnosis from the colonoscopy or was a different test needed? I've heard scope tests can come back normal, but it's eventually diagnosed as Crohn's. Any advice?
