  1. I regret quite a few things and wish that they didn't happen. However, I can't change them now.

  2. Yes, I regret all sorts of things.  I pour over things I have said, done, and thought about doing.  It is one of my main issues.  Constantly in my head I'm punishing myself for things I've done or not done.

  3. I have many regrets, but I don't want to do most of them over. The few that I do, I just wish I knew how it would have turned out, but they have to do with a person and he is happy so I wouldn't want to change that.

  4. honestly yeah its something i regret every time we are around each other...i just miss the way we were any day that the opportunity presents itself i will be more than happy to try again

  5. Hydro,

We all have ghosts hanging in our closets whether we are young or old and many of us carry them with us on a daily basis, but never want to speak about them as they raise bad memories.

  6. I with pixz.  If I had not been addicted, I would not have to work another day in my life.  I was set, and blew almost all of it.  Unlike Pixz, I didn't have to do harsh things to get my fix, I had a nestegg.  Note the word 'had'.  I still have some of the 'wreckage of the past' left to clean up - bills, back taxes, etc. - but I have come through it stronger.  I have a great partner who is also in recovery, and the only solace I can take from my addiction is that it led us together.

I would also have never given up my government job.  I could be ten years from full retirement by now.

  7. Yes there is. It would probably change me entire life but I would do it in a heartbeat if I could.

  8. I've had a pretty harsh past. I was addicted to drugs, alcohol, you name it. I did some pretty awful things in order to get my fix. Nevertheless, there is a reason why I went through that self-inflicted h**l. I found my purpose through everything that I've done in my past, and that is to help others who struggle with addiction. Having been there, and done that, I feel that I have a large understanding of the struggles that addicts face when they are attempting to get clean.

There is nothing else in my past that I would change outside of that, as well. Everything that I've done and all that I've gone through has made me into the person that I am today. Who's to say that changing one thing wouldn't make my life and character totally different? Honestly, I wouldn't want to change a thing. I like who I am, and what I've become. The past molded me, and taught me how to live a fuller, better life.

  9. Yes I wish I had spent more time with my Grandmother when she was still healthy. She passed away 2 years ago.
