Washington did, why cant you or we? The govt does not work for the people anymore, but for the corporations.

I cant believe how cowards most Americans have become that they don't have the guts to confront the govt like teh founders of this country did.

Guess why did the constitution creator gave us the right to bare arm? and guess why do the actual govt take that right away from you?

You coward. Have started thinking more about your nice looking house than about your country.

shame on those who are willing to be fool and forget about the one that was a great nation.

At the end, the Rockefeller and Bush family will run away with your gold. That is why Bush don't````` `` mention the word "depression" in his speeches. Because the country will go on a big crisis. But the govt wont.

We pay Bush's and his cabinet's salary.

Do something.

Why aren't we as brave as people used to be in the past?

thanks for your answers.

dont check my grammar but my message. Many of the people who fought in the first revolution did not even know how to read. But they have the guts.

  1. The people who fought in 1775-1783 did not fight in a revolution. They fought in a war to secede from the British Empire. And most of them did read. The literacy rate in this nation was much higher then now.

The creators of the Constitution did not give us the right to bear arms. That right is contained in the Second Amendment to that document. The first ten amendments to the Constitution were ratified separately from the original document.  The government hasn't taken that right from me. I can not only legally own my pistol, I can carry it openly on my hip in every jurisdiction in my State except one. I do live in a nice house. But, I also served 25 years in the U.S. Navy and also ran for political office twice since my Navy retirement. I challenge you to show me that your record is any better.

I'm not correcting your grammar. Just challenging your "facts".

  2. LEts see...we could start a bloody revolution (against the US military none the less) that would go on for probably decades...then if rebellion one, would have to reinstate a government, get the economy up and running, rebuild our infrastructure....so thats probably a good 50 years or so....

Soooooo we could either take the 100 years of the rebellion....or just wait 4 years and relect a new president, or a new congress.

    Which should we choose...

  3. the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants!

  4. When people are pressed with a choice on what they can lose and what they can gain (not limited to material gain, freedom, for example) they will rise up against the ruling party. People have been dumbed down to enjoy the prosperity and a good life, they rather follow along and defend someone perceived as their own kind, especially a born again kind.

The smart people and good leaders around the revolution were unselfish and willing to help people.

  5. I confront them every day with emails and phone calls. Conservatives have made it unpatriotic to speak our minds. It is unpatriotic not to.

  6. Too many people are ok chasing the "American Dream" to care what the government is doing.

  7. No matter how bad the government may be, there would be no way people could rebel unless it were the military that did the rebelling in order to establish a military junta.

If we stormed Washington with our six shooters, the Army would soon mow us down.  That would be brave maybe, but would be a futile and stupid ;form of  suicide.

  8. I write to the government in protest.  Unfortunately I'm not paid to lobby them.
