  1. yes, i bring a microwavable meal since we have microwaves some works do not

  2. Sorry to say that I can't afford to buy lunch in Leeds.  I take a sandwich to work and also have a cuppa soup, a yogurt and an apple.  Same every day - very boring.  And there is a beautiful sandwich shop next door to my office.  How is that for self restraint?

  3. no, cheap food purchased in bulk and made available to eat will land you much more cash, at the end of the month, besides the time crunch it takes to get to a restaurant or anything.

  4. No, i'm hardely getting one cup of tea and smoke one cigarete in the break time, with closing my eye for 5 minutes, just to refresh my mind.... but really some times i need to refreshh my tummy also

  5. totally.i usually shell out 900 rupees for a cup of earl gray and a smoke turkey sandwhich.i get it from Hilton

  6. yes,.

  7. Not very often. I usually take a salad or sandwich with me, with some fruit & eat it when I can as my desk.

If I do grab something whilst out, we either go to the pub or get a sandwich from the following:

    A local deli

    Subway

    Boots

    M&S

    Usually spend about a fiver.

  8. I don't buy my lunch, I pack a salad, yogurt and some sort of fruit.

  9. Yes, M&S is just around the corner and their salads, sandwiches, drinks are yummy. Most of the time I bring in a nice lunch/salad, which I made my self at home

  10. Yes i do. I'll maybe get a meat pie or a piece of grilled fish or subway. And a drink.

I usually spend about $12 Aussie dollars

  11. Rarely. I am a service engineer. If you take 30mins for lunch you finish 30mins later. We do  not get paid overtime. So if you go over your finish time it becomes your own time. So you use your lunch time to buy you time at the end of the day. I do eat but while I drive between jobs.

  12. im out on the road all day every day so i choose when and where im having lunch.

  13. No

I work far from any restaurant in less than 30 minutes.

  14. 12 shift. Lunch made at home, eaten on the hoof.

  15. no and it kinda sucks

  16. I always stop for lunch.  I rarely eat breakfast and am starved by lunch time.  I am a sales rep on the road, and I usually stop at a restaurant like Bob Evans, Chilli's, Olive Garden, Pizza Hut, whatever I am in the mood for.  I don't like to spend over $10 for lunch including the tip.  I never order a drink, I drink water.  Occasionally, I will do a fast food drive through, and eat on the road.  I really don't like to do that, as it is not as healthy of food and it is about the same price as getting something healthier and a nice break, too.  If I do McDonald's, then it is always cheap.  I order a couple of things off the $1 menu, get a water and spend a couple of bucks.  If I am really broke, I occasionally will pack a sandwich, and I always take a small cooler with  bottled water, a juice, and sometimes a soda.  I also keep the water bottle sized lemonade packets in the car, and make up a drink if I don't feel like water.   I personally like the break from the car, and don't like to eat in the car.  However, most people have an office.  My office is the front seat of my car!  I find that if you don't order a drink, order off of the lunch menu, or watch how you order, you can have a decent meal and keep the price down.  I don't stop for coffee or sodas, like many people do.  I carry my own with me, but I do indulge myself for a lunch break.
