Yes, you can make your customized My Yahoo page your homepage / start page.  Here's how to make your "My Yahoo" page your default homepage:

For IE6:

Go to tools >> Internet options >> General

Type in the url for your yahoo page in the "Address" field.

For Firefox2 / Netscape9:

Go to Tools >> Options... >> Main

Type in the url for your yahoo page in the "Home Page" field .

For Opera9:

Go to Preferences >>General >> Main

Type in the url for your yahoo page in the "Home Page" field.
