Do you have to ask permission from your highschool to take online courses?

I want to take online courses to get ahead but if i dont let my school know about it will i still get credits for it?

You need to talk to your guidance counselor to find out if they will give you credit for the online course. They may refuse to give you credit after you've taken the course and that would be a total waste so make sure you find out if they'll give you credit for the course before you take the course.
