  1. No. Even if you did, who would know?

  2. It's actually against the law in most places so asking permission won't do any good.  Just do it and don't bring attention to yourself.

My aunt was unceremoniously dumped in Lake Washington.  Just don't do anything that will interfere with others, like spreading them in the wind downtown.  No one want to breathe in your relatives.

  3. no.

make sure youre alone though. it may bother some people.

  4. NO

  5. This has become more requested with the cost of maintaining a site in a cemetary. It seems to take place in the bush/family property/favourite beach (when the public are not around, usually from a boat) etc.

Interesting question as I want my ashes scattered from a mountain look-out site. Might check it out to satisfy my curiousity.

  6. I guess that would depend on where you wanted to scatter them, if it was private property of course you would have to ask permission of the owner of that property.  But if it is public land it should be fine.

  7. Depending on where you want to scatter them. If it's a private property or in a heavily populated area, then most likely. Make sure to ask just to avoid problems after.

  8. its supposed to be in the persons last will and testament as to who and where their ashes are to be put.

  9. You will need permission if you don't own the the land where the ashes will be scattered.  If nothing else, this would be a common courtesy.
