Do you have to b short 2 race?

I want 2 race but I am tall, do I have b short or small?

Height is not a big deal you just can't weigh over 112lbs.

No. But I know that your not suppose to weigh over 127lbs.

height is not important, its all about weight

you can be any height as long as you are strong and dont have a problem making weight, which should be somewhere between 107 to 115(as when you start you will get a 5 to 7 pound apprentice allowance) ...and by strong i mean really really strong , especially in the upper body...lafitt pincay (one of the greatest of all time) spent most of his career between 115 and 118 and a good friend of my close partner ,Corey Nakatani who is a world class jock talked to him the other day and said he is between 115 and 120 right now...

You kinda have to be both!! you have to weight at the most 115!! most jockeys are short!!!
