Do you have to be 18 to buy zippo lighters in costa rica?

i just need to know if u have to be 18 or not i have heard a lot of different people say a lot of different things i need some help

i had bought as zippo when I were 17 years old in  shop in Alajuela downtown, so I',m sure that you don't need to be 18 years old.

Hmmm probably not if you go to to a big store.

You might be able to get away with it in a small convenience store.

Yes, you can buy Zippo's here under the age of 18....You cannot buy a real one for $6....They start around $18 and go up from there.

There is a law against selling cigarettes to minors in Costa Rica.  I don't think that there is a law against selling lighters to minors.
