Do you have to be 18 to get the morning after pill?

If i go to planned parenthood and am under 18 years old will they still give me the morning after pill (plan B). without telling my parents

  1. I'm not really sure about Planned Parenthood but I work at retail store Pharmacy and for patients to purchase Plan B without prescription from the Dr, they have to be 18 yrs old. If under age, must have a prescription from the Dr. Call Planned Parenthood if you have to be 18, if not maybe one of your older friend can purchase it for you at Walgreens/CVS.

  4. It really depends on your state. But in the state of Illinois if you are under 18 the only place you can get plan B is at planned parenthood

  5. Yes Planned Parenthood should. It's a pharmacy where you need to be over 18 to get it without a prescription (in the US). Doctor or Planned Parenthood should give it to you.
