Do you have to be 18 to learn ninjutsu?

i was watching human weapon and they were doing ninjustu and it made want to learn it. if you don't need to be 18 can you find any ninjustsu instructors in Adelaide any where.

no, one can learn it at any age, if he/she has certain understanding of the society, life and the art that he/she is learning.

am i think they prefer that you are 18 or have a high rank in other martial arts and if you are neither of them you can do it if you get a parents signature. this is what i have found out from ninjitsu dojos in Brisbane.

You can start at any age, the only thing you cant do is get practice gear.  Like nunchucks an such till your eighteen.

from 6years up and the so called ninja has never done ninjitsu thats just a nickname ninjitsu is great fun with some devastating moves and cool weapon training

Hi there

Most clubs only teach this art to students over the age of 16 due to the nature of the techniques and the weapons involved. Its a very complicated art to pick up especially the taijutsu side of things. People who pick it up the best tend to have experience in other arts. You may find some schools that teach students under the age of 14 but they are quite rare and one could argue that what they are actually teaching kids isn't the same stuff you would teach adults. Its not like teaching children's karate or tae kwon do. Its an adults art only and it takes a mature individual to grasp its concepts. You wont find any pop culture TV ninjas in budo taijutsu!

uhh ninjutsu is fake steer clear of anyone claiming to teach it. Try Judo, BJJ, Kickboxing, Boxing, Sambo, Kajukenbo, Savate, or Kyokushin Karate and to prove it look at how easy Jason Chambers took down the so called ninja in the episode in the final challenge when he tried to attack him h2h.

As far as I am aware you don't have to be a certern age to do ninjutsu training.
