Do you have to be 18 years old to work at aldi in the uk. Because i was thinking about geting a job at aldi and i'm 16

I hope this isn't too much of a right, short, sharp, shock to you, but, aside from being able to spell correctly (an absolute must for many job applicants, as it is the prospective employer's first indication of their intelligence, if not their background), the issue of confidence is equally, if not more, important; even more so than a CV (*).

    For example, if you ask strangers on the web about such, rather than going directly to the source, then that shows a lack of confidence and/or indicates laziness. Neither is a good trait for any employer.

    Take the initiative, and call or go to your nearest Aldi's and ask them. The worst they might say is that you are not old enough, or that they have no relevant opennings. If nothing else, you will have gained a bit of experience on how to handle yourself in the future (practice makes perfect!). And, who knows? Perhaps an employer who turns you down knows of some other employer who might want a go-getter!

    So, get off your bum and snap to it!

    Now there's a good lad (?)!

  2. it might be a problem becuase alcohol and ciggarettes are sold the best thing to do is to ring them up and enquire
