Do you have to be 18 years old to take the b-12 shots?

im 17 and a female...please help me i need a good diet fast!!!!

    You need b12 , folic acid and iron to keep from being anemic. If you are missing one you are considered anemic or deficient. B12 helps with energy and the absorbtion of nutrition. If you are having problems with digestion then B12 would be a good way to go.

    Iron deficency test: Go to the mirror and pull your lower eyelid and see if the color is red or flesh color. If its flesh colored you are lacking enough iron and should take a herbal iron like Floradix. It will take a month to see a difference. Iron carrys oxygen in your blood and if you dont have it you will feel tired, cold hands and feet, headaches, RLS, dull brittle hair, brittle nails, poor sleep, pale skin (see thru), shortness of breath, fatigue, poor concentration, low mood, ringing in the ears, irregular heart beats, cracks in the corner of the mouth, dizziness, fainting, sore tongue and canker sores. Add b12 and folic acid for best results

  2. When you are young, B12 shots are out as it is a boost for blood formation and not related to good fast diet.   B12 is only for those who are weak in blood circulation & formation.  Please check with your doctor or is the doctor giving you wrong info.

  6. If your doctor deems it necessary then you will be given b-12 shots. And the diet should be come from your doctor as well.  

  7. Good diet:  Eat less calories and exercise more.  That is the ONLY way to get the weight off and KEEP IT OFF.  Nothing else will work long-term.  It's not a fast way to lose weight, but it is a PERMANENT way to lose weight.  Isn't that better than yo-yoing back up to a bigger weight?

  8. the b group of vitamins are water soluble - which basically means you're gonna p**s it out almost as soon as it goes in your body.

    it's actually a silly thing to take - (unless you have some realy Vit B storage/transport problems) . if you want a diet -

    starve yourself for 36 hours. then eat normally for 24 hours. and continue this cycle. i think you could lose many kilograms (pounds if you're an american) pretty fast. just make sure yo uDO eat after 36 hours, otherwise you're gonna gain a lot of weight and look like fat little hedghog

    Stephanie my love, I don't own a medical company. I'm a doctor. There is NO need for EXTRA VIT B unless one has a deficiency in the transprt and storage of vit b. b12 and folic acid are of course very important for red blood cells, however in a normal healthy individual with a diet that has at least some meat there is enough vit b-12.

    folic acid supplements need only to be given to pregnant mothers. otherwise if you have meat - you'll get vit b12.
