I am looking to book a cruise for my boyfriends birthday. We will both be 18 for the cruise. Some people are saying you must be 21 to book it. Help?

  1. All of the cruise lines except Carnival require that at least one person in each cabin MUST be at least age 21 or older.  Carnival requires that at least one person must be age 25 or older.  So you need a person over age 21 at the minimum to go with you.

  2. The following cruise lines will allow you to book if at least one person is 18

    American West Steamboat Company,

    Cruise West,

    Cunard,

    Oceania,

    Orient Lines,

    P&O Cruises,

    Peter Deilmann,

    Regent (Radisson) Seven Seas Cruises,

    SeaDream, S

    tar Clippers,

    Uniworld and

    Windjammer.

Of course you need to verify with your booking agent at the time of reservation.

  3. No, one person must be at least 21-it has nothing to do with international waters or the drinking age...

  4. well, not really too sure, but you can try go to 88db website and search for cruise, and maybe you can try out with Star Cruise

  5. No 18 is fine, no drinking age on international water
