  2. No, the purpose of a purity ring is that you are making a vow to you and God that you will not have s*x until marriage. It has nothing to do with religion at all, you can be catholic, baptist, christian, and even atheist and wear a ring if you wanted to because you are making a promise mainly to yourself to wait!

  6. There are no ring police.  You can wear a ring to symbolize anything you want.  It's entirely your choice, a token for yourself of a commitment you've made, or simply personal adornment.  You don't even need to tell anyone what the ring means to you.

  12. I don't think so, although most view it as primarily a christian tradition, it is also a promise to your future spouse that you are waiting for them. I think that regardless of your religion you should be allowed to make that promise as well as wear a symbol of it as a reminder to yourself and others of it.
